Announcements

Please observe the following rules when carrying folding bikes:
1.You should put the folding bike in a bike bag.
2.Put it in the luggage compartment for free.
3.When putting your folding bike on a seat, you need to pay half fare for it.

Concession tickets guidelines:
1. There are full tickets and half tickets.
2.Half tickets are available to:
(1)Holders of Disabled Cards. Must ride with a guardian or a partner.
(2)Children below 12 years old at height of 115cm and below 145cm can purchase half tickets with valid IDs.
3.Half tickets are available to:
Holders of Disabled Cards. Must ride with a guardian or a partner.
4. Free:
Children at the height of 115cm or below or children below 6 years old but at the height above 115cm are allowed to ride on the buses free with valid IDs. They are allowed to occupy seats. But they must be accompanied by adults with valid tickets. Each adults with valid ticket are allowed to take two children that are eligible to ride on the buses free. All children exceeding the requirements must purchase half tickets.

Guidelines for carrying pets on the bus:
1. You need to pay half fare for each pet carried on the bus. But they should not take any seat.
2. Passengers refusing to cooperate with the staffs’ advice, in case of the following, may be refused to ride on the bus. The unused tickets can be refunded in full:
(1) Suffering from serious diseases.
(2) Not carried in cages, baskets, or nets.
(3) Unclean or prone to damage other people and things.
(4) Harmful to public hygiene and other passengers; aggressive and dangerous animals.
(5) Not suitable to be carried on buses.
3. Passengers should carry their pets in cages, baskets, or nets. Each passenger is allowed to carry one pet, not exceeding the dimensions of 27cm3 (average length of 30cm on each side).
4. When carry pets, passengers should place them beside and take good care of them. They are not allowed to put on seats, luggage racks, or aisle. The cages, baskets, or nets carrying the pets should be closed or fastened tightly and wrapped up with waterproof cloth for hygiene reasons. If any passengers violate the rules and refuse to cooperate with the staff, they may be forced to leave the vehicle. The tickets will be suspended.
5. Guide dogs must be allowed on the buses to safeguard the rights of the people with visual impairment. All guide dogs can ride on the buses for free. As most guide dogs are huge, they are suggested to sit by the doors.

Changhua High Speed Rail Station

  Changhua Taiwan High Speed Rail Station is a green building with the theme of a rice paddy surrounded by flowers, vegetation, sunlight and water. The sun sheds light into the space to bridge the outdoor garden. It is truly a feast for the eyes.

Fujing Railway Museum

  Fujing Railway Museum with train-related art on the 2nd and 3rd floors has a restaurant on the ground floor. A restored patrol train is displayed outdoors. This is a popular place for people to enjoy a fantastic meal and remember the trains with nostalgia.

Taiwan Sock Museum

  Located next to the Shetou Train Station, Taiwan Sock Museum is worth visiting. An exquisite old building of the Japanese Train Company, it is listed as a heritage site and has been transformed to a museum to display the sock industry history, machinery, and documents to show the glory of Shetou’s sock industry.

Loho Sock Museum

  Loho Sock Museum, the first one of its kind, is designed for families. Beautifully painted walls, sand pits, classrooms, and a spacious hall displaying award-winning socks welcome the tourists. You can even make dolls with socks. It is a perfect place for family outings.

Turn Trail (Salt Trail)

  The Salt Trail, also known as the 18-Turn Trail, links Changhua and Nantou and is located at the end of the road to Qingshuiyan Recreation Area. This cobblestone trail winds through the woods. The trail from the parking lot at Qingshuiyan Temple takes you to Mingjian, Nantou.

Qingshuiyan Ecological Exhibition Center

  Shaped as a Hercules beetle, Qingshuiyan Ecological Exhibition Center is next to the Qingshuiyan Temple and houses thousands of insect samples. Promoting both eco-conservation and tourism, Qingshuiyan Ecology and Culture Association offers package tours to visit this heritage site. You can also make your own steamed buns and pick your own fruit.

Qingshuiyan Temple

  Qingshuiyan Temple, built in 1728, is now a heritage site. Located at Qingshui Village, Shetou Township, this temple worships Sakyamuni Buddha and Avalokitesvara. With a pond and pavilion in the front, this temple is an elegant and historic spot, a perfect place to study Buddhism.

Qingshuiyan Hot Spring Recreation Area

  Since Changhua County launched the Qingshuiyan hot spring facilities free of charge for the public in 2017, it  has become a popular attraction with long lineups. It is open from10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will find it at the entrance of Qingshuiyan Campsite.

Qingshuiyan Campsite

  Qingshuiyan Campsite is 12 hectares with lush trees. One of the most popular campsites, it is a training base for boy scouts, a holiday retreat for students, and a barbecue paradise.

Changhua Souvenir Center and Tianzhong Paddyrice Station

  Do you know that the Tianzhong Marathon was fully booked in seconds? Tianzhong boasts many attractions. With things to try and buy, Changhua Souvenir Center and Tianzhong Paddyrice Station are located in Changhua High Speed Rail Station area. Local specialties, bike or scooter rentals, local markets and the marathon are always readily available.

Shinhochun Soy Sauce

  Located in a Japanese style old house in an alley, Shinhochun Soy Sauce Company has been family-run for 4 generations since 1916. The factory is full of history and is one of only a few producing soy sauce with black soy and salt. This dry fermentation technique is well-preserved by this company. The fragrance of their soy sauce has been well kept for a century.
