Where to buy

1.Taiwan Tourist Shuttle tickets can be purchased from the following shops: ERA Ticket, and 7-11, FamilyMart, OK, and Hi-Life convenience stores. If passengers book a one-day ticket through the above companies, they can reserve seats one month ahead of time starting June 20, 2017. The reservations for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday must be completed before 6 p.m. the day before. The reservations for Saturday, Sunday and Monday must be completed before 6 p.m. on Friday.
2.The tickets for this route can be reserved. The bus driver will announce available seats on site. Passengers without a reservation are not guaranteed to have a seat even though they line up at the bus stations or stops.

Guidelines for carrying folding bikes on the bus:
Shift1:Due to limited space on minibuses, no folding bikes allowed on the bus.
Shift2:Foldable bikes are allowed on low floor buses.

Guidelines for carrying pets on the bus:
1. You need to pay half fare for each pet carried on the bus. But they should not take any seat.
2. Passengers refusing to cooperate with the staffs’ advice, in case of the following, may be refused to ride on the bus. The unused tickets can be refunded in full:
(1) Suffering from serious diseases.
(2) Not carried in cages, baskets, or nets.
(3) Unclean or prone to damage other people and things.
(4) Harmful to public hygiene and other passengers; aggressive and dangerous animals.
(5) Not suitable to be carried on buses.
3. Passengers should carry their pets in cages, baskets, or nets. Each passenger is allowed to carry one pet, not exceeding the dimensions of 27cm3 (average length of 30cm on each side).
4. When carry pets, passengers should place them beside and take good care of them. They are not allowed to put on seats, luggage racks, or aisle. The cages, baskets, or nets carrying the pets should be closed or fastened tightly and wrapped up with waterproof cloth for hygiene reasons. If any passengers violate the rules and refuse to cooperate with the staff, they may be forced to leave the vehicle. The tickets will be suspended.
5. Guide dogs must be allowed on the buses to safeguard the rights of the people with visual impairment. All guide dogs can ride on the buses for free. As most guide dogs are huge, they are suggested to sit by the doors.

Cruise Style Train:
After picking up passengers at Advance transportation center in Chiayi and Chiayi HSR Station, runs along Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum,Dongshih Fisherman's Wharf, Beimen Visitor Center, Haomeili, and Budai Visitor Center, and stops by each station from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Guided tour is provided on the bus. Please download and consult the bus schedule for stopping time.

Donshi Fisherman’s Wharf has fascinated viewpoint, local culture characteristic, recreation area, and ecological resources that form many different facility themes; The Oceanic Culture Museum, local specialty hall, shops, ocean viewpoint, Fu-Chiao Market and beach trail

The Glass Shoe Church

  Watch the Glass Shoe Church built with 320 pieces of glass at the height of 17m and width 11m. It sparkles like a diamond under sun light.


  Haomei TaiSheng Temple: Standing on Haomei, the Mazu statue was constructed during the Ming Dynasty. After being examined by experts, it was certified as a precious cultural artifact, and one that also provides evidence that immigrants were sailing across the Taiwan Strait at the time. Haomei was formerly a fishing port of south Chiayi. Before sailing out to sea, fishermen used to pray to the sea goddess Mazu at TaiSheng Temple, asking for her blessing. It remains a local religious center to this day. 3D Color Painting: Haomei Outdoor Art Gallery was the first village in Taiwan in which houses were decorated with 3D paintings. All the paintings are themed on fishing village culture. Visitors are free to take pictures there and create their own memorable images of this former fishing village.

Beimen Visitor Center

  Budai Visitor Center remodels the old building of Budai Sea Transport into a place for tourist and locals. Inside the building there is multi-purpose room, visitor information services and resting area. In the outdoor area there are plenty of parking space and clean restroom. The quality services at Budai Visitor Center increase the number of visitor here every day. It centers on Beimen Visitors Information Center, and runs along scenic areas as Jiucheng Street at Beimen, Money Coming Grocery Store, historic buildings around Beimen Salt Washing Factory, Taiwan Black-foot Disease Socio-Medical Service Memorial House, Zhoubei Salt Pan, and more. This zone is suitable for the entire family, specifically, for new couples to take wedding gown photos. In this zone, three are many romantic places, such as the Crystal Church, Love Beimen, Whale Clock Tower, Love Tree installation art, and more. In addition, there is a painted wall with lovely and cute pictures, ideal for photo taking.
