Guidelines for carrying folding bikes on the bus:
As there is no luggage compartment for storage, carrying a folding bike on the bus is not allowed.

Concession tickets guidelines:
1. There are full tickets and half tickets. All day return tickets are offered at discount prices already. Apologize for no further discount.
2. Half tickets are available to:
(1) Senior citizens at the age of 65 or above, with ROC ID cards or Senior Citizen Cards
(2) Holders of Disabled Cards. Must ride with a guardian or a partner.
(3) Children below 12 years old at height of 115cm and below 145cm can purchase half tickets with valid IDs.
3. Free:
Children at the height of 115cm or below or children below 6 years old but at the height above 115cm are allowed to ride on the buses free with valid IDs. They are allowed to occupy seats. But they must be accompanied by adults with valid tickets. Each adults with valid ticket are allowed to take two children that are eligible to ride on the buses free. All children exceeding the requirements must purchase half tickets.

Guidelines for carrying pets on the bus:
1. You need to pay half fare for each pet carried on the bus. But they should not take any seat.
2. Passengers refusing to cooperate with the staffs’ advice, in case of the following, may be refused to ride on the bus. The unused tickets can be refunded in full:
(1) Suffering from serious diseases.
(2) Not carried in cages, baskets, or nets.
(3) Unclean or prone to damage other people and things.
(4) Harmful to public hygiene and other passengers; aggressive and dangerous animals.
(5) Not suitable to be carried on buses.
3. Passengers should carry their pets in cages, baskets, or nets. Each passenger is allowed to carry one pet, not exceeding the dimensions of 27cm3 (average length of 30cm on each side).
4. When carry pets, passengers should place them beside and take good care of them. They are not allowed to put on seats, luggage racks, or aisle. The cages, baskets, or nets carrying the pets should be closed or fastened tightly and wrapped up with waterproof cloth for hygiene reasons. If any passengers violate the rules and refuse to cooperate with the staff, they may be forced to leave the vehicle. The tickets will be suspended.
5. Guide dogs must be allowed on the buses to safeguard the rights of the people with visual impairment. All guide dogs can ride on the buses for free. As most guide dogs are huge, they are suggested to sit by the doors.
6. No birds are allowed on the bus to prevent bird flu.

“Dongshan River” has National Centers for Traditional Arts, and more. In addition, Kavalan cultural area, boat trip along the Donghsan River, bird watching at the wetland zone, and more are also recommended activities. You can enjoy rural village lifestyle, bird watching, and various other leisure activities there. Of course, biking along the river banks and bird watching are interesting activities in the magnificent Lanyang Plain.

Dongshan River Water Park

  This water park o­n the Dongshan River is well equipped for riverside fun, with a winding river course, water ladders, and other facilities for water activities suitable for all ages. A major international children's festival and rowing contest are held here each summer.

Luodong sports park

  This 47-hectare park is located about two kilometers northwest of the Luodong Railway Station. The green expanse of the park gives visitors a chance to enjoy the natural beauty of the area's scenery as well as to engage in sports of various kinds. It is divided into four areas: sports, landscape, waterscape, and forest. This is an ideal place to relax, and perhaps to get some exercise

Luodong Forestry Culture Garden

  In 1982 logging was banned in Taipingshan and the forest remains its originality until 2004 the Forest Bureau begins to construct the area into a culture garden. Natural eco-pond, aquatic plant pond, steam locomotives display area, forest railway, trail along the pond made up this 20-hectare garden which contains recreation, education and culture purposes. The well preserve garden attracts more than 20 species of birds to live here. The Forest Bureau specially conserves 6 old steam locomotives at SongLuo Hall for visitor to take a memorable photo. 

National Center for Traditional Arts

  Traditional arts are rooted in people’s lives and are a form of beauty derived from the art of living. According to our ancestors, the origin of our culture was divided into two categories. One was performing arts such as music, folk songs, dance, acrobats, story-telling, theatre, puppet theatre and so on. The second category was art concerned with design. This category placed an emphasis on traditional handcrafts such as sculpture, weaving, painting, collage-making, ceramics and the gold-silversmith trade. These were considered the most developed and appreciated forms of traditional arts.

Dr. Duck Tourism Factory

  Duck meat products, with a history of around one hundred years, become a specialty in Yilan or even Taiwan. The main reason for setting up Dr. Duck Tourism Factory (博士鴨觀光工廠) lies in allowing us to know the process of making the products and experience it as well. Through guidance and experience activities like color painted duck, color painted egg, and pickled egg production add more significance to the trip, allowing us to get to know more about the food while enjoying it.

Luodong Night Market

  Luodong night market (羅東夜市) surrounding Zhongshan Park (中山公園) is one of the most famous and popular ones in Taiwan. It is a must to go to experience the night market culture in Yilan. At the Luodong night market there are many delicacies, including mutton soup and tapioca. With the support of sightseeing bus, Luodong night market becomes a place incorporating eating, drinking, entertainment and connecting day and night.

Lize Old Street

  Lize Old Street (利澤老街) was called Lizejian (利澤簡) in old times, which possesses many historical street scenery and buildings; among them, Li-Sheng Hospital (利生醫院) is the landmark. Visiting Lize Old Street makes us dream about the segment in soap opera “I Am Destined to Love You”. The old street far away from the sound and fury of cities is suitable for relaxation and entertainment.

Luodong Train Station

  Luodong Station (羅東火車站) can be traced back to the early period of the Republic of China. The station was set up in March 1919, hence becoming one of the stations for the railway between Yilan and Suao.
  Railway became an important means of transportation for Taiwan in the early times. After outdating, the station had undergone several times of renovation. And it has realized trans-station construction since 2003. Later, bus transit station was built next to it, pushing the area to be a prosperous belt in Yilan.
